Mindfulness allows us to be aware of and observe our thoughts and emotions without judging ourselves for those thoughts and emotions. When it comes to pregnancy-related grief, this can be very difficult to do. It takes time and effort to be able to be mindful of your own grief.

The thoughts and emotions you have related to grief can be a complicated mix of your own true response along with societal expectations, stigma, mental health challenges and/or lack of support. Mindfulness can help you be aware of the thoughts you are having and the emotions you are feeling without assigning value to them.

This guided grief meditation invites you to gently and nonjudgmentally acknowledge your thoughts and feelings. It helps encourage you to find safety in this space as you bring this grief to your mind.

Here is an excerpt -

“These feelings can be big. They can be heavy. When we allow ourselves a safe space to sit with these feelings, we are processing our grief and progressing in our healing journey. I am so proud of you for doing this tremendously hard work. Remember to give yourself grace as you continue on your journey.”
